Manikantan Geet Mala is a musical offering to Lord Ayyappa composed by the legendary maestro Ilaiyaraaja in four south Indian Languages – Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu. The Album has 8 songs crafted with care and devotion along with some chants on Ayyappa. The duration of the entire album will be 41 Minutes. The Tamil version of the album apart from Ilaiyaraaja composing it has all the six songs sung by the living legend himself. The other languages have the voices of legendary singers like SP Balasubramaniam rendering voice for 6 songs in Telugu, VIjay Yesudas and Madhu Balakrishnan for 6 songs in Malayalam and Shankaran Namboodiri with 1 song in all languages. The album has some of the leading lyricists from South India who have penned down the lyrics for this unique devotional Album. Vaali for Tamil, Vennela Kanti for Telugu and Anil Kumar for Malayalam. The eight tracks have been uniquely strung together in the order of the Sabarimala Pilgrimage and emotions a pilgrim experiences.
